UPDATE:
Jim Lawson added 2 more images and more text proving that he is making fun of Bay’s TMNT alien vision:
“After a generations old war between their species draws to a close, the Shredulonians and the Turtles bring their latest battle to Earth…”
“Earth has got the hottest chicks.”
“Just give me a walk-on role as an innocent bystander that the building falls on in the climatic final battle scene (with explosions)!”

TMNT Co-Creator responds to Bay’s Alien turtles idea
Peter Laird, the co-creator of the Ninja Turtles franchise spoke his mind today after numerous fans asked him to express his opinion about the possible alien origin idea planned by Michael Bay for the TMNT movies reboot.
This is what Peter Laird had to say: “I have had several requests from TMNT fans during this past week to comment on the idea of the Turtles being “reimagined” as aliens for the upcoming TMNT movie to be produced by Michael Bay. A few people — who don’t seem to understand that I am no longer in control of the property — want me to stop this, somehow. Obviously, I can’t do that, even if I wanted to.
But I would actually encourage TMNT fans to swallow the “chill pill” Mr. Bay recently suggested they take, and wait and see what might come out of this seemingly ill-conceived plan. It’s possible that with enough truly creative brainpower applied to this idea, it might actually work. I’m not saying it’s probable, or even somewhat likely… but it IS possible.
However, as I have pondered this further, I have realized that in one way it IS truly a genius notion. Let me explain…

Leonardo and april Oneil actors approve of Bay’s TMNT reboot vision
After an angry letter from Michelangelo’s actor, Robbie Rist, from the first TMNT movie accusing Michael Bay of “sodomizing” the turtles in the upcoming movie reboot, 2 more actors expressed their view which is, this time, in favor of Bay’s ideas.
Actor Brian Tochi, who lent his voice to Leonardo in the first movie, and actress Judith Hoag who portrayed April Oneil in the same movie let their fans know that that they approve of Michael’s Bay vision towards the reboot of the franchise. Brian had this to say: ” Michael Bay wants to do a different take on the turtles origin story … Mazel Tov!” while Judith’s approval might be a bit bias as she listed all the movies she worked on that were made by Michael Bay.
It seems that this Michael Bay controversy will be going on for a long time.

More possible info regarding the TMNT upcoming movie reveal the main Villain ?
This past weeks was really marked with the news of the upcoming TMNT movie reboot. We first heard of an official release date (which is December 23rd 2013) and then producer Michael Bay hinted at a re-imagining of the origin story making the turtles from an alien race. It seem the trend continues with more “possible” info.
According to firstshowing.net, the Turtles in the upcoming movie are going to be part of a race of inter-dimensional race, and the main villain that the alien turtles will be going against is none other than Krang. According to the same website, Krang will have an exo-suit and the technodrome will also be featured.
We should note that Krang is a character who as specifically created for the 80’s ninja turtles cartoon series, and was portrayed as an arrogant dictator from the far dimension-X, and most of the time Shredder’s boss. In appearance, Krang resembles the Utroms, a benevolent alien race featured in the original mirage comics, and whom were directly responsible for the birth of the turtles. Krang operates a robot like suit (an exoskeleton) and possesses the giant technodrome, a sphere like, giant moving vehicle that came from dimension x that serves as Krang and Shredder’s base of operation.

Michael Bay responds to angry TMNT fans and asks them to Chill out!
It seems that the fans outrage has reached Michael Bay himself. To reassure us, the upcoming TMNT movie produced posted the following message on his official page:
” Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script. Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex back story. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world”
We are pretty sure that this will not reassure the angry fans who already took a stand against the origin change idea.
What do you folks think, are you reassured after the comment Michael Bay made ?

Mikey’s voice actor from the first TMNT movie accuses Michael Bay of “Sodomizing” the turtles!
Outraged at Michael Bay’s statement of changing the turtles origins to Aliens from another planet, Voice actor Robbie Rist, the man behind Michelangelo’s voice in the Ninja turtles movie, addressed a letter to Bay himself. Below is the full letter:
” Dear Michael Bay.
You probably don’t know me but I did some voice work on the first set of movies that you are starting to talk about sodomizing.
Look man, I think you have some pretty nifty action ideas (of course on the other side, the minute ANYONE in your movies starts using actual dialog I seem to catch myself nodding off), but seriously, Teenage ALIEN Ninja Turtles?
I know believing in mutated talking turtles is kinda silly to begin with but am I supposed to be led to believe there are ninjas from another planet?
You know that ninjas are a certain kind of cultural charact….
Oh what the hell am I talking to you for?
The rape of our childhood memories continues…..”
Let us hope that Michael Bay, and Paramount studios, do hear our cries and not mess with our beloved turtles origin.

The Ninja Turtles are from an alien race in the upcoming Movie, Says producer Michael Bay!
The Ninja turtles are going to get a reboot movie next year. The movie is written by Mission impossible: Ghost protocole writers Josh Appelbaum and André Nemec and directed by Jonathan Liebesman. Producing the movie, is none other that Michael Bay, the man responsible for the Transformers movie fame.
All that sounded great until Michale, himself, went on stage at the 2012 Nickelodeon Upfront in New York, and said the following statement about the upcoming movie: “When you see this movie, kids are going to believe, one day, that these turtles actually do exist when [we] are done with this movie, These turtles are from an alien race and they are going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable. ”
Now hold on a sec! ALIEN RACE??? Let’s hear it from the man himself in the video below:
Michael Bay talks Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles par stuffwelike
